Achieving the Pinnacle of Success

The 2018 AADEJ meeting in Chicago will be a presentation of cutting-edge ideas and advanced innovation in the publishing industry. You will learn all about fresh approaches to better serving the needs of your readers. Secure your place today!

No matter what your level of expertise — a new editor, journalist, or a seasoned professional--let us take your publication to the next level. Welcome all - members and non-members alike. This exciting meeting is presented by the American Association of Dental Editors and Journalists (AADEJ) and is designed to address your publication’s specific needs. We will help you build on the current success of your journal and help you take the next step to becoming a premier publication. This is an opportunity to meet with the experts who will guide you through copyediting, layout and design, electronic publication, advertising, and meeting the needs of your readers.

If you aren't currently a member of the American Association of Dental Editors and Journalists (AADEJ), we have more good news for you. The meeting attendance fee includes a paid-up, one-year membership in the AADEJ.

In addition to this invaluable information, we will also conduct a special session for peer-review editors, journalists, and for those who are interested in making the transition to becoming a peer-review publication. You will be offered a specific protocol for organizing and implementing the peer review process authored by our medical editor. As you know, a certified peer-review publication represents the ultimate authority (integrity) for your publication—this impacts your credibility, status, reputation, and ranking.

Through our one-on-one workshops and lively panel discussions, our faculty of experienced editors will share their insights and experience to help you establish the reputation and branding of your journal.

21 continuing education credits will be given for this program through ADA CERP and AGD PACE.

The process does not stop here. During each AADEJ annual meeting, a new level of expertise will be added (Level 1-2).

Through the AADEJ you can pursue two levels of certification. The first level is Certified Premiere Publication. This is a unique branding opportunity as it certifies that your journal meets accepted industry standards and practices. Certified Peer Review Journal is the next level of certification. This drives the success of your publication as it enhances your journal’s authority, credibility, visibility, and ranking.

We hope that you will accept our invitation to attend this exciting meeting. We look forward to seeing you in Chicago!
